Cloud computing is a general term for the delivery of hosted services over the Internet.
Cloud computing enables compute resources to be consumed by businesses as an utility the same as electricity rather than having to build and keep computing infrastructures in house.
Cloud computing assures several attractive advantages for end users and businesses. Three of the main benefits of cloud computing comprise:

In the cloud model that is public, a third-party provider provides the cloud service on the internet. Public cloud services can be bought on demand, commonly the hour or by the minute. Leading public cloud providers include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, IBM/SoftLayer and Google Compute Engine.
Cloud that is hybrid is a mixture of public cloud services and on-premises private cloud – between them both with orchestration and automation. Firms can run mission- critical workloads or sensitive programs on the private cloud while using the cloud that is public for bursty workloads that must scale on demand.
IaaS providers such as AWS supply a virtual server instance and storage, together with application program interfaces (APIs) that let users migrate workloads to a virtual machine (VM). Users have begin, stop and an allocated storage capacity, obtain and configure the VM and storage as desired. Cloud computing services can be private, public or hybrid.
Private cloud services are delivered from a company’ data center to internal users. This version offers convenience and versatility, while maintaining security, control and management. Internal customers may or may not be billed for services through IT chargeback.
SaaS is these are often called Web services. Microsoft Office 365 is a SaaS offering for email services and productivity applications. Users can get SaaS applications and services from any location using a cellular or computer device that has Internet access.
